Fun part was she is extremely aggressive and doesn't sit around which i really like. Frankly i don't use her for damage but more as a distraction.

What did you use to code? Or did you use Gamemaker / Rpg maker engines? Was actually thinking about creating a full scale pokemon SRPG.

Yes i agree with you, but they did do a good move as you of course. You have to find another idea around it. Have you seen Outwitter on the iOS. If you you take the battle.net ideas for starcraft and make your game more competitive, you may have something. Games like R-type Tactics that have a score system per battle, makes the game competitive (it also has a archieve of scores). Make the game more competitive. What do you think?

Sorry I don't think a PSP version exists. And i was kinda pissed when I heard about Pokemon conquest. "No! They're gonna steal my thunder!" lol

:) How did you know they were going to make a similar version? LOL Good call. I usually play my turn based tactical games on my PSP. Is there any way to put that on it? Emulator or RPGMaker player?

I'm not sure if it runs in wine, but I don't think other peoples' attempts have been particularly successful. RPG Maker VX uses a lot of windows APIs. I actually started working on this project before Pokemon Conquest was announced.

would this run behide wine in Linux? have you tried it? By the way, very nice work. Is this anyway related to Pokemon Conquest or inspired?

A lot of the evolutions aren't implemented correctly/at all yet, and yeah I haven't really tested the misty fight at all. I know about the farfetch'd thing but I havent found a good sprite editor to fix it lol.

@KyosukeMasaki The battle system is still a little rough, the maps are too big and sometimes it's difficult to reach the enemies (especially if they are escaping), the Mp sistem feels a little off in a pokemon game and weakness and resistance aren't working very well. Nonetheless the game is very enjoyable and i spent more then a little time on it, I hope that you keep up with the good work and that this review can help you in some way. Good game but there are some bugs: Farfetch'D sprite sometimes gets inverted during battle (it seems to point left while its right and viceversa) You cannot win Cerulean Gym battle as Misty never summon Psyduck Charmender evolves into Clefeary :-) This is what I've seen for now but I haven't finished playing. I've liked a lot the possibility for the Gym Leaders to use abilities (even if I've not understood how to do it as the player).

I dig it, man! I think they should professionally release a game like this...maybe with a slightly more Shining Force inspired gameplay model so they could control the leveling a bit more and keep it competitive (think about how Disgaea could get easy at times if you got grindy, but shining force just allowed you to grind a bit in order to gain a level or two before it stopped letting you do so).
